What concerns do companies have when it comes to nearshoring?

According to ISG, the number of new contracts in the outsourcing area of German companies rose by almost 25 percent last year, and the trend is rising. This corresponds to a total market volume of 14.6 billion euros.

This can be nearshoring and also offshoring. Nevertheless, there are always reasons that keep companies from outsourcing.

On the one hand, one is concerned that there will be difficulties in managing the remote teams, but on the other hand, one is also afraid of poor English skills on the part of the developers, which then leads to language barriers.

How do we counteract this?

Review of English skills, you can speak to every developer in advance, teams are coached by us, there are feedback loops, we are in contact with the project managers and are on site if there are problems, German employees who mediate and coach, but also for projects to stand.

Furthermore, the lack of transparency on the part of providers can mean that it is difficult to assess your own risk and you prefer to stay in local waters.

We can also take this worry away, because we work in an absolutely agile environment and transparency is a top priority for us. From the first to the last step, the customer knows what he is getting and what we are doing. Feedback is very important to us as we are a learning organization. We make sure that our developers also live our culture and promote an agile mindset by coaching them. We also expect this transparency from our customers.

Another fear is that a bad job will be done.

This can always happen, even with your own employees on site. It is important to work empirically. If there are problems or the work is not of the desired quality, on the one hand this will be noticed after 4 weeks at the latest, because we have a feedback and communication process based on Scrum, on the other hand our employees develop groundbreakingly quick through retrospectives.

In addition to the ones already mentioned, there are a few other good reasons to choose Cuttingedge Agile:

  1. On request, we only hire employees from the European Union, which should be very interesting especially when it comes to data protection.

  2. We pay fairly and involve our employees in company activities - for better motivation.

  3. The advantage of offshoring is the proximity to the outsourced team. Most of our developers can be in any major city in Germany in less than 4 hours.

  4. Our teams work TOGETHER. And that's what we stand for. We offer agile and cross-functional teams that we coach if necessary.

  5. Cost savings. On the one hand through lower travel costs (in relation to offshoring) and on the other hand through lower employee costs. In addition to the more appealing employee costs, you also have nothing to do with recruiting and coaching employees. You can concentrate fully on your management tasks.

  6. Due to the proximity to Germany, our employees have the same work culture and there are no major differences in the time zone.

  7. You get access to expert knowledge. You tell us what you need and we will support you.

  8. We are a learning organization. You will benefit from it and you will notice it quickly.

  9. We can help you tackle unforeseen complications quickly and efficiently. We help you to always be one step ahead of the others.

  10. With new developers and different expertise, new and great developments can come about. The ability to innovate improves enormously.
